The Definition of Insanity vs Entrepreneurship

The Definition of Insanity vs Entrepreneurship

Keep going even after failing many times that’s the only way you reach success but don’t do anything repeatedly expecting a different result as that’s the definition of insanity.

As a person very passionate about entrepreneurship, mental health and self improvement, these contrast of those two popular statements have been on my mind for many years and I feel it’s time to face it and try to figure this out.

I want to continue succeeding where I already do and that requires sometimes committing to doing things that don’t work out for a long time until they do. And starting new endeavors is almost always a promise to fail for a very long time of commitment before they start working out.

Sometimes I think, maybe the process is changing just a tiny bit at a time. Maybe that’s what makes you not crazy. A tiny bit better at a time. Or maybe it’s doing it anyways, even with knowing you’re mad, doing it anyways.

After all, every entrepreneur is almost always called crazy in their first few years, especially especially art and media entrepreneurs.

I think it’s about the small changes internally, the daily learning and actions that accumulate, and maybe to the outside you look crazy posting your 100th video growing slow, or selling at another market with zero gain, or investing into your new idea, your new song…

My takeaway from facing this is this. As long as you’re learning, growing, even in nuances but every day - you aren’t crazy, outsiders may just not be seeing your inner process or believe in it, but they will later, at start and through you must believe in yourself and those small changes accumalating over time. That's being ambitious and capable of great things.
