Creating on a journey of connection with Jewish communities around the world and learning my heritage. On my Dad's side, surviving conversion attempts to other religions and forced into exile from Judea by foreign empires, taken as slaves into Rome, massacred out of Italy, Portugal, Spain, surviving Jew hatred and Nazi arrival in Morocco, escaping on secret ships back to Judea (British Palestine). On Mom's side, surviving the brutality of empires and their conversion attempts, surviving massacres under the Persian empire and the Iraqi Farhud, going back to Judea in refuge tents, all living today in Israel where my family also survived the Oct 7th massacre in the Gaza envelope.
